Welcome to the homepage of The Air Force Association - Gold Coast Chapter 351. The AFA is a non-profit organization with membership of both active duty and reserve military personnel, veterans from all branches of the armed forces and civilians who have an interest in aviation and aerospace careers.
Our Mission
The Air Force Association mission is to promote a dominant United States Air Force and a strong national defense, and to honor Airmen and our Air Force Heritage. To accomplish this we:
EDUCATE the public on the critical need for unmatched aerospace power and a technically superior workforce to ensure U.S. national security.
ADVOCATE for aerospace power and STEM education.
SUPPORT the total Air Force family, and promote aerospace education.
There is strength in numbers, and we need that strength, yes numbers, to support the AFA mission of advocating for air power and a strong national aerospace defense. Truly, your membership is important in sending the AFA message to all concerned.
On October 20, 2018 Gold Coast members participated in Banyan's Aviation Career Day. Pictured are Gold Coast's Aerospace Education officer Virginia Knudsen and Loretta Young, the chapter's Veteran's VP. Both ladies spoke about the many aviation opportunities in the USAF.
AFA Gold Coast Chapter Member of the Year 2018 is Don Campion, owner of Banyan at Ft Lauderdale Executive Airport. Mr Campion was unanimous voted for this award for his continued support of the chapter and for the free access of one of his hangars and several office spaces for aerospace and aviation programs.
